Deborah did not say, “God, wait—let me go ask my husband first.” When God calls you, you answer the call. You obey Him, trust Him, and He will make a way. Marriage does not cancel a woman’s calling or her responsibility to obey God. A godly marriage should honor God’s calling on both husband and wife.
