@elysedelucci: For the last 10 years, I’ve been living a double life. So if you only know one side of me, hi. Let me reintroduce myself. For 20+ years, I’ve worked in corporate America - much of it in financial services and on Wall Street, eventually in the C-suite. And for nearly 10 years, I’ve also been a stand-up comedian. Those two worlds don’t exactly go hand in hand. One has boardrooms and earnings calls. The other has brick walls and a two-drink minimum. For years, I kept them mostly separate...I wasn’t always sure the corporate world would know what to make of the comedian - or that the comedy world would know what to make of the corporate executive… Neither one was a hobby. I’ve spent years leading business strategy, marketing, digital transformation, and growth - while also writing and performing stand-up, creating, and raising two daughters somewhere in the middle of all of it. And more and more, I’ve found myself bringing those worlds together - especially in conversations about ambition, work, women in business, career, identity, and building something alongside the life you already have.
