Love how many of them came from the SLV. saguache is one that is so fun to ask people to say. my grandmother from NE pronounced Saguache: sag-ah-oo-chi. I laughed so hard.

I love pronouncing Buena Vista correctly (byoona) and having people get mad at me for it but then correcting them because the name of the town is NOT pronounced the same way as the Spanish word

I remember back in the day,those pronunciations were used before "Spanish" was a thing in Colorado. got some streets in my neighborhood that you wouldn't like (eg zuni, tejon, umatilla,lipan, galapago, and on and on) 🔥🥰🖤🥰🔥
