@millennialrx: Wait… there’s a continuous glucose monitor that gets implanted UNDER your skin?! 🤯 Eversense 365 is an implantable CGM designed to last up to a full year. Here’s how it works and what makes it so different from the CGMs you’re probably used to seeing. #Eversense365 #CGM #Diabetes #ContinuousGlucoseMonitor #Pharmacist
One day we will have implanted insulin pumps that will just function as a new pancreas and maybe one day we will figure this whole thing out

Eversense has been a game changer in terms of accuracy, consistency, and predicting blood sugar trends. By far the best decision I made to better manage my blood sugar

so what would happen if you need an x-ray or mri or a CT scan? can you still do those procedures or you have to find something else out?

Is this sensor faster than a service dog’s nose?

I like using my Eversense because the adhesive for the transmitter doesn't cause any reactions (apparently 99% of people don't react to it at all). Plus, since you take off the transmitter every day to shower (and charge it), you get to change the adhesive everyday, and so you don't have to worry about needing to make the adhesive stay on. Plus, if you need to change it more often, you can just buy more of the adhesive patches rather than worrying about wasting your CGM and not having enough until your next shipment.

Also if you make a lot of scar tissue, having to have this replaced every year will leave you with few sites
