@drgavingcook: Here is an unethical life hack that I hope you use for good regarding effort arbitrage and the perceived value of your work. You can use this as one of many strategies to underpromise and overdeliver. This is sort of a sophisticated version of dragging your feet - a tactic economic historians have noted that peasants throughout history have used to resist landed empires - but as a manager you may notice when your employees or those you mentor have done this to you! There are many examples of effort arbitrage throughout daily life, and once you begin to see it, you will see more and more of them. Hope this helps you as much as it has helped me #SelfImprovement #psychology #communication #motivation #LifeHack

This a very strong and clever hack, but it's not for everyone. For me, i think this has a very bad side effect, you are indirectly telling your boss that you are avaible after work hours, which will make it more difficult for to setup barriers with your boss, if you want to later on.

When someone mentions the book you are reading. lol

Employim Classic

sm :

the main issue with this is that...boss might get an idea that this particular worker is ok working till 11pm..and may assign tasks and ask the worker to continue once home...

Alex :

Mario 64 menu music? 🤔

Luce :

My manager would tell me off for working too late and would remind me of the work life balance. ✨Europe✨

I wander around walking quickly and carry a folder and pen.

It's better if you schedule it very early. So like At 4.30 AM if work starts a t 8.00AM

taz9001 :

I do this but my bosses/colleges work different hours. I want them to get the emails when they are working.

uktiktoketc :

Am millennial. I see this and have the opposite reaction. I see you as sus.
