One big studio that makes toys for their shows is Nickelodeon, unfortunately they are really bad quality toys which means nobody buys them, because of low toy sales they have cancelled shows that a lot of people enjoy (I'm talking about Rise of the TMNT, which is such a beautiful animation from a smaller studio that still does hand drawn 2d) Anywhizzle, Nickelodeon likes to sabotage their animations if they aren't as big of a hit as SpongeBob within the first year

Isn't there also a reason why cartoons now a day don't sell alot of toys. Because in the 80s and 90s kids shows were made to sell toys as a marketing scheme? I mat not have it correctly but that is something I learned
