Sometimes things happen for a reason. That "bad" perm allowed more people to learn who you are:-) even though I know that even without that perm you would have still been noticed but this definitely sped things up.

File a claim with their insurance. Salons should have professional liability coverage, which is insurance for damages caused by their services. Ask for their insurance information and file a claim.
