@bongeziwemabandla: Depression has been something I've experienced for a big part of my life. At the worst of times and even at the best of times, it felt like it was draped in front of me like a steel curtain that kept me from feeling unburdened. I've always wanted to write a song that describes the kind of pain I carried when I'd be in the depths of depression, and it wasn't until I was able to identify that pain with the feeling of being imprisoned that Ndikhulule (Depression) was born. It found its way onto Ndingubani because it's very much been a part of my story Now that story continues with the visuals. The video for Ndikhulule will be out this Friday. I hope the song, and the way we've told its story through the visuals, helps to lighten your load 💛 First photo by/co-creative Director - Chris Saunders Co-creative Director/Stylist - Chloe Andrea Welgemoed BTS - Skyla Haley
