It’s a taboo in South Asian community, when I went through it after giving birth to my first and second pregnancy I was told that I was using it as an excuse not to do any work. It’s hard to go through it alone when no one understands. I ended doing this as a research for my MA in psychology and it’s sad that south Asian women have the less access for support and care . May Allah make it easy for you .

It's extremely hard I've been there, you shut yourself off from the world, stop caring about yourself, sudden burst of tears for no apparent reason, all that whilst having to take care of the baby, forgot to mention the lack of sleep. May Allah make things easy for you. One thing I can say is that us women were built differently, we are stronger than we think we r.

I’ve been through it, it gets so much better I thought I wouldn’t make it and I’ve been doing istighfar everyday, Alhamdulilah it does get easier hang in there ♥️everything you’re feeling is completely normal !!
