@mohammedamda1: Reply to the injection of the Kawokudi Astroturf Park by Club owners or Stakeholders at Kawokudi Astroturf park Until when will we continue petitioning for natural grass while forgetting that maintenance is one of the biggest challenges in Ghana? Even our national stadia are often neglected until there is a major national assignment, such as the FIFA World Cup qualifiers or the AFCON qualifiers. Can anyone honestly say they have not seen what has happened to those facilities? While artificial turf may not be the perfect solution, it is still in better condition than some of our national stadia. The Kodjo Asamoah Astroturf is currently one of the best pitches in Ghana in terms of quality and standard. We are not against progress or better facilities. However, every good thing comes at a cost, and that cost is proper maintenance. Without a sustainable maintenance plan, even the best natural grass pitch will eventually deteriorate. #We say No to green grass turf,
