my #1 grammar pet peeve is when people use I as the object of the sentence instead of me. What makes it worse is that it is done so much, that it had become normalized.

Oh my gosh!!!! Thank you for saying this!!! That’s exactly how my Language Arts teachers taught me how to break it down…..plus “I” is neva eva possessive. When I try to explain it to the young ones who were not taught correctly, they look at me like I’m speaking a foreign language.
