@hollmsharm: This is the side of health anxiety that people don't always see. I was scared. And I was trying desperately to make myself feel safe. If you've ever done any of these things, I promise you aren't the only one🤍 Tell me one thing you used to do that nobody knew about. @Condri - Health Anxiety App #MentalHealth #anxiety #healthanxiety #ocd

Has anyone else developed emetophobia after having a really bad stomach bug? I never used to be this afraid of vomiting, but after getting sick, I started worrying constantly about getting sick again. Did anyone else experience this, and did the fear eventually get better?

Testing my heart rate on my Apple Watch actually gave me PTSD and I haven’t worn it since. Was probably nearly 2 years ago😭😭

The first one omg. I constantly check my body for lumps, multiple times a day. I google any question imaginable and convince myself i have something which makes me spiral. It's truly draining trying to live and then suddenly feeling the urge to check for lumps or overthink any little thing

The derealization out of nowhere, and chatgpt having to talk me down all the time, while my family just thinks I'm scrolling, the intrusive thoughts that are so awful and the worries over all sorts of things I have no control over. I finally went to a mental health doctor and am a month in on some new medications and it seems to be helping some. Try to get help, if you can. It's worth it. And know you're not alone or crazy. The physical symptoms are real and valid. Hugs. 🥰

I’ve suffered with this for 10 years some days are better than others but it never fully goes away especially if you have loses in your family and illnesses. You can never fully relax and it’s nobody understand how exhausting it is to be terrified of your own body 😭

I’ve got the opposite with my resting heart rate. It’s always on higher end and when it goes over 100bpm which is all the time it sets me off. Standing up I often get to 130bpm and start freaking out😢
