It’s a young folk thing 🤷🏿♂️. If I ask a lady out I’m paying. Even if she asks me out I’d probably still pay. Economic times have changed though and I think it’s wrong to want a non traditional situation except for wanting a guy to pay for everything. So I think it’s becoming more common and accepted to split the bill.

Im not sure I believe that data is accurate. Granted its talking about people significantly younger than me. But I do see talk in social media and I can say i have ALMOST never heard any a woman say "oh I want to pay for myself on this date". I would be willing to bet that the largest chunk of the people who said that are the guys
