@spicycokezero: Of course these always need to be taken into context and a single phrase doesn’t automatically make someone manipulative. Intent matters. #fyp#psychology#educational#manipulator#relatable
literally he asked if i wanted to call and i said yes and then he said “nvm ill go u sound mad”

idk, i've said "if u really loved me" to my mother before saying something like "u wouldnt threaten to kill my pets" or "u wouldnt force affection on me when i told u i didnt want it". maybe that's technically manipulative but not in an exploitative sense

The_Truth_You_Hate :
The truth is sometimes people really need that pressure to step up to what they are lacking and know that person is serious about their own worth and making it known is that anything else is not tolerable, and instead of giving up on them you let them know directly.
Can that be used in a terrible way? absolutely, but that does not apply to every situation, for ex. someone keeps on making promises they're going to do something that they know is healthy in the relationship not only for themselves before moving forward and they keep on promising but never delivering.
I love offenders after all I've done for you. Yes, people certainly become selfish and accustom to really good treatment without reciprocating. People doing their parts and their partners parts in the relationship should very well be thought of without provocation for reminding, but once again being forgotten builds and that is manipulation and that is abuse. Once again sometimes somebody really needs to know that their partner is worth something and that loving means even exchange. They accepted, willingly received, it's time to return the good.

A lot of the time it’s using “you” as the subject. It’s projection.
