@maria2111215: 🌑 THIS IS THE DAY WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR! August 12, 2026 brings a spectacular total solar eclipse. The Moon will pass directly between Earth and the Sun, completely covering the Sun for observers inside the narrow path of totality and briefly revealing the Sun’s outer corona. 🌞🌑 Totality will cross parts of Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain and a small part of Portugal. Many other locations across the Northern Hemisphere will experience a partial eclipse instead. The total phase will be brief — generally less than two minutes for many locations — making the moment especially precious for anyone lucky enough to stand beneath the Moon’s shadow. If you’re watching from outside the path of totality, you may still see a partial eclipse depending on your location. And remember: during the partial phases, proper solar viewing glasses or a safe solar filter are essential. Regular sunglasses are NOT safe for looking at the Sun. Would you travel to another country just to stand inside the path of totality? 🌍🔭 #SolarEclipse #August2026 #Astronomy #Space#Skywatching
