THIS!!! when i studied anthropology; the distinction needs to be made…chattel slavery is distinctly different from slavery that was practiced in the ancient world! It’s been proven, when the first Europeans began to purchase “captives” of war, they OMITTED their true plans for those people! They did not tell the war chiefs they planned to make those people work for their entire lives in the worst conditions possible! They never told them! They never told them they planned to separate them from their families and work them to death!! Slavery in the ancient world was NOT matrilineal, that was a consequence of chattel slavery in America!! Love your videos as always!!

I agree with you 💯: let me add my 2 sense, not all countries participated, I’m African : when the whites came to Africa : they brought an idea , they sat down and decided what was called partition of AFRICA, do you know what that is ?
