Dr, here’s another part of the question I’d really appreciate your perspective on regarding leadership as a man in a relationship. I understand that leadership isn’t just about providing financially or presenting a vision. I have also tried to demonstrate through my actions the kind of man I am—my values, ethics, respect, consistency and the way I conduct myself. I believe that if I expect certain qualities from my partner, I should first demonstrate them myself. I have also tried different approaches to create more comfort, openness and friendship in the relationship. I’ve tried being more charismatic, light-hearted, approachable and intentional about creating an environment where communication can happen naturally. But the challenge is that the energy doesn’t seem to come back.
