Purchasing an entire house maintenance plan has been lifesaving for my budget. Replaced multiple appliances and an on call repair service

20 years in, so I understand where you're coming from. However, despite the ups and downs, it was one of the best decisions made, especially with the crazy rent prices in California. Over the years, we’ve accumulated a list of trusted professionals and do DIY when we can. You got this 🩷💐

I don't regret buying a house, I regret buying my houae. I purchasers during the ens of the pandemic and felt like I hadnto take what i could get at he time because homes were going so fast. HVAC system went out last year and it was 10k to replace it. But I have almost a 100k in equity. can't get that from renting

I purchased 7 years ago. A house that I later found out is full of copper pipes. I have had my share of leaks. The last one was in the wall. I had to file against my insurance for moisture and mold remediation. I learned within the first year that some electric companies offer repair plans. I don’t have to pay for a plumber anymore. Anytime there’s a leak, I say it could be worse. But I have had my moments of wanting to ball up in a corner and just cry. Hang in there!

Everything that you spend on your house is taxable, save all your receipts and at the end of the year you will get all that money back, home ownership is challenging. I’ve only been a homeowner for four years also and things have happened, but I was able to write it off during text time just give it time.

Home warranty is a life saver. Still costly and I’ve had several issues over the 5 years I’ve had my home. But I enjoy the peace and quiet and freedom it comes with it

Girl I feel the same way 😫😫😫. My first year the furnace went out. Had to have to replaced. I just been been finding small things that were wrong but hidden. Now I’m stuck. Homes cost too much to move my interest rate is 3%. And apartments cost more than my mortgage. 😫😫🤷🏽‍♀️

Dear Young People : don’t buy a house. Not in the US and especially not if you move abroad. Just don’t. Look at Germans for instance. They are RICH AF. They usually always rent. Always. And they keep their cash. Spend your cash on yourself, family, retirement savings.
