that's how it was with my grandmother. she was 91 in this photo. one year later she was gone from breast cancer. and my grandma could work my nerves like nobody's business but that was my bestie. I miss her so bad.

Yeah, I was caring for my grandpa for a while and he was all there and just fine until one day he wasn’t. Sat up watching that swan lake ballet on pbs and just went away. Wild how it happens. It really ain’t got that much to do with health imo. I think some folk just decide that it’s over. I respect it. I wish I had more time with him, but you can never get enough of what you cain’t ever get again.

I understand sincerely.. I spoke to my mother on the day she was killed in a car accident. Planning a trip at 10 am on Thursday phone call the next morning at 10am Friday I get the call. Cherish your people all of them.
