@9mil.k: One More Kiss “Bet you can’t do it.” Love looked up from her phone. “Do what?” Milk smiled, leaning against the doorway. “Make me ask for a kiss first.” Love stared at her for a second before laughing. “That’s your challenge?” “Scared?” “Not even a little.” Milk sat beside her on the couch, their shoulders almost touching. “Then let’s make a rule.” Love raised an eyebrow. “What rule?” “Neither of us can ask for a kiss.” Love smiled. “Easy.” “Whoever loses has to admit defeat.” “And what does the winner get?” Milk thought for a moment. “A kiss.” Love laughed. “That makes no sense.” “It makes perfect sense.” “You’re impossible.” “And you love me.” Love’s smile softened. “Unfortunately.” Milk gasped dramatically. “Unfortunately?” Love laughed and gently pushed her shoulder. The game began. For the next few minutes, they tried everything to make the other one give in. Milk would lean closer whenever Love was talking, then pull away with an innocent smile. Love would do the same, watching Milk carefully whenever their faces got close. Neither of them gave up. Until Milk whispered, “You’re getting nervous.” “I’m not.” “You are.” “I’m waiting for you to lose.” Milk smiled. “Keep waiting.” Love looked at her for a long moment. Then she slowly reached for Milk’s hand. Their fingers intertwined. Milk glanced down, then back at her. “That’s cheating.” “How?” “You’re distracting me.” Love smiled sweetly. “Is it working?” “Maybe.” They laughed. The room became quieter after that. Love’s thumb gently brushed over Milk’s hand. Milk looked at her with a softer expression. “You know,” she whispered, “I could easily win this.” “Then why haven’t you?” Milk moved a little closer. “Because I like watching you try.” Love’s cheeks turned pink. “That’s unfair.” “Maybe.” Their faces were only inches apart now. Love looked at Milk’s lips for a second before meeting her eyes again. Neither moved. Neither spoke. Finally, Love whispered, “Milk…” “Hmm?” “I think I’m going to lose.” Milk smiled. “You are?” Love nodded. Then she leaned closer and whispered, “Fine.” She paused. “I want one.” Milk’s smile grew. “One what?” Love stared at her. “You know.” Milk pretended to think. “I really don’t.” Love rolled her eyes. “You’re so annoying.” Milk laughed softly. “Say it.” Love smiled despite herself. “One kiss.” Milk leaned closer. “Deal.” Their lips met in a soft, gentle kiss. When they pulled apart, Love smiled. “There. Happy?” “Very.” Love started to move away, but Milk gently caught her hand. “Wait.” Love looked back. “One more.” She smiled. “That wasn’t the deal.” “I know.” Milk leaned closer. “I’m asking this time.” Love’s eyes softened. “Then yes.” Another quiet kiss followed. And somehow, one more turned into another, and another, until they were both laughing between kisses. Love rested her forehead against Milk’s. “I think we both lost.” Milk smiled. “Maybe.” Love wrapped her arms around her. “But I don’t mind.” Milk hugged her closer. “Neither do I.” And the challenge was forgotten completely. Because sometimes, losing was the best way to win. #milklove #milkpansa #loverrukk #fyp #xyzbca
