I use Mood Sewciety a lot! Free patterns in a lot of different styles, and most are available in sizes 00-32. Older patterns (pre-2020, for the most part) have a smaller size range, but there's a ton they've put out since then.

size inclusive collective on IG shares inclusive patterns! It's a mix because she shares sewing, knit, and crochet patterns but they are all size inclusive (I believe they have to go to a 60" bust at least or made to measure to be shared by her). Threadloop (think of it as similar to Ravelry but for sewing) is also a really great resource as you can sort patterns to only show one's that include your bust or hip measurement, and as a bonus, they flag any patterns that are likely AI!

Ahh! I’ve never sewn or made clothing. I come from a long line of fat women and my great aunt was a professional seamstress, she specialized in clothing made for fat people. I asked her once, to help me understand patterns and she told me she’s never used one. I’ll bet they didn’t make patterns specifically for fat people. My aunt always just took measurements and made clothing. It seemed like magic to me, lol.

I also love using existing clothing to create a pattern for sewing! I sometimes will thrift “ugly” clothing that has a fit that I like and I rip the seams apart to use it as a pattern. It’s great getting to try on the pattern before you use fabric to make it.
