@ghbrain_: UPDATE; The Deputy Ashanti Regional Organizer of the NPP, Kwaku Atta Sarpong, has explained the party’s decision to organise a vigil in support of Chairman Wontumi. In an interview, he said the NPP believes Wontumi’s 20-year prison sentence was politically motivated, a position the party strongly opposes. He added that the vigil is aimed at demonstrating solidarity with Wontumi and expressing the party’s concerns over his conviction.
