Can you explain the injector flutter at operating temp? My truck will act like it’s cutting out when it’s above 200deg after letting the Jake’s hit and trying to get back into it until about 1500rpm and it quits. I rebuilt the Jake’s but it didn’t help.

Were you able to narrow it down to a specific injector or just it being an injector problem in general? I have a set of factory injectors in mine that were put in around a year ago during a rebuild. I also cut it back to 550 with a factory tune after the rebuild. It ran fine on the 600 tune immediately after the rebuild but, after cutting it down about 3 weeks after the rebuild, it started idling rough at exactly 900RPM when warmed up. It would miss almost like a lope, hard enough to sway the CB antennas. Had a buddy plug into it and do a cylinder cut out test and we couldn’t narrow it down. Ran an overheard and it’s not nearly as pronounced but still just has a flutter to it. Also seems to smoke more than it should at 550 but gets 5.5-6.5mpg pulling a conestoga so I’m reticent to monkey with it too much.
