@nat_doeshair: Crying in the club over getting rid of the minty hair 😭😭💚 She was ready for a change, and I KNEW that if I put a straight dark color over her minty-fresh hair, we were about to have the muddiest color you’ve ever seen 😂 Remember what they taught you in beauty school: when taking hair from light to dark, you have to replace the missing pigments that were removed during the lightening process! That’s why I started with Dia Color 7.44 + 9 volume to put those warm pigments back into the hair and create a solid foundation for my final color. Then I went in with my final formula, also using Dia Color, so I could get the depth and tone I wanted while also making sure the color had something to hold onto and LAST. 🙌🏼 Color theory really matters! Why does the fill have to be red, wouldn’t that give you a red undertone if I want black I don’t want to see red in the sun light, is there another fill color I can use like Blue?
