Elfin water fountain has a lock for the top plate so it can’t be removed!! Maybe try that one?? It’s what I use and my cats love it. Mind you they don’t try to flip things but worth a shot

It’s because it’s too near their feeding area. Have the water bowl a completely different area that’s why they flip it it’s a survival tactic they don’t like still water or water near their food. Maybe pancake isn’t as deaf as donut

I had to tape the fountain to the floor. One of my cats keeps flipping the top bit and I would come home to water everywhere 😭 took her a few months but it finally stopped, the tape had conditioned her lol

We had to put a 10lb barbell across the back because my orange cat would grab the spout and lift off the top. Also when I found out my orange cat could curl 5lbs, hence the 10lbs.
