For anyone wondering, the officer is Moisses Arellano and he was not put on leave; he remained on active duty. They claim that they “review uses of force internally.” So basically, they just decide what is, and isn’t okay. There is a pending lawsuit and they were supported to meet Thursday, but that meeting has been moved to August 25th.
