we have one at the end of our street. I used to live in a house down there and would hear and see my youngest call me and skip down the hallway only to see my kids sitting deeply into play together. my neighbor's would hear giggles outside their window and my parents house I heard the giggling while showering before I had kids all at the end of this street. I moved farther down and haven't had an incident since. this is in central Florida.

This is form Michigan,One time me my cousin and friend we were all by are self.were at my grandparents house and we were just hanging out and my grandparents house has a lot of woods around it so me and my cousin and friend went to go explore and play in the woods. So we went out and we catch some frogs and played but then my cousin said (let’s go deep in the woods) now I thought that was a bad idea but I didn’t want to look scared to them so we went.and then when we got deep in the woods we started hearing whispering and the whispered said stay and then it said run and I looked back and both my friend and cousin were gone so I ran so fast and then got to the house we went inside locked all doors and I said why did you guys leave me and they said (we didn’t go that far in the woods you did) so we ran up stairs and put stuff up against a door to block it from stuff getting in and then we started hearing a bell ring it was like door bell it wasn’t like a person thought it was really fast so we made the oldest person go out and that was my friend by the way I was the only girl he said he would only check if some one went with him so I did and we both screamed it was like a big black shadow like 9ft tall with really long fingernails and no eyes and really thin hair so we ran back in the room and closed the door and piled more stuff on . Now my mom wanted me and my friend to walk back through the woods to are house because it had a trail to get to my house but my cousin only lived like a block away so we called my mom to come get us so she did and took me my friend and my cousin home and we all hope we don’t experience any of that again .

NO PLEASE SLOWER! I can’t believe so many of you guys are asking for faster. Please please go slower please. What’s wrong with you guys???! I like to fall asleep to these stories and I can’t when they’re this fast. It’s the one reasons tea after midnight is my favorite because she goes slow.

I've had multiple experiences with mimics, along with my family. But the one that stood out the most was when my uncle's husband, me, my sister, and mom all heard my uncle call his husbands name. Clear as day from the living room and we were in the kitchen. We thought maybe he came back from work or something so we waited for him to come into the kitchen but he never did. My uncle's husband texted my uncle to ask if he came back for a few seconds and he said he didn't and that he has been at work since 7 am. It was 12 pm.
