I felt the same about the Crowns of Nyaxia series by Carissa Broadbent. First duology with Raihn and Oraya was really good. Second duology with Miche and her Underworld dude (I can’t even remember his name) was boring af. Their duology should have been a novella. But I’m happy to report that I JUST finished “The Lion and the Deathless Night” (book 5) and it is sooooo good. The characters are intriguing, complex, and fascinating. I actually shed some tears, which I didn’t do with Mische’s duology. Please read it; you won’t be disappointed. 🥰

Holland on a second here.. im 38. I read about 60 books a year. if i live for 30-40 more years thats 1,800-2,400 books!!! i only have 198 books on my tbr. probably 3/4 of them are series with like 3-7 books. thats so thats like 350 books! if anything, we should be ADDING to the series tbr... 😅

The Lion and the Deathless Dark has been my favorite in the series! I did not like the second duology and only decided to read it because of Septimus.. no regrets! Definitely try it!
