Communication thats ALL people need. Everyone always responds better with “hey man, shit broke, we fixed it, it’s hot in the metal tube I’m making it cozy for you, and also heads up it’s gonna be a rough ride for a bit so prepare for it” rather then a gate agent saying they don’t know what’s happening and it’s just another delay

I never understand people who get annoyed about a delay due to issues on the plane. I'm like " take your time and make sure it goes up, stays up and comes down when it's meant to"
