Actually, “Work out your own salvation…” The Greek idea is to bring something to its intended result or completion. Paul is not saying, “Work for your salvation.” Rather, “Live out the salvation you have received.”

When Paul says, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” he is not telling us to work for salvation, because salvation is the gift of God through Jesus Christ, not a reward we earn. He is speaking about working out what God has already worked into us the practical outworking of our salvation, which is sanctification. Jesus restored what sin had distorted: (image) our relationship with God and our identity as His children. Now, through the Holy Spirit, we are being transformed and taught to walk in the (likeness) and character of God. We don’t obey in order to become God’s children; we walk in obedience because, through Christ, we already belong to Him. So “work out your salvation” is not, “Work hard enough to obtain or maintain your salvation.” It is, “Live out the salvation you have received.” The gift has been given; now the Holy Spirit teaches us how to walk in what we’ve been given.

Needs to be obedient to the Trinity and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That’s what I mean doesn’t mean you can lose. It doesn’t mean that you commit sand you ain’t doing it because remember what the Bible says all have seen and feel short of the glory. God if you say you have no sin, you called Jesus a liar so we’re all sinful that’s why we must repent. That’s why we must meditate on the Bible day and night.
