@miss_lakay: I just finished watching Prophet Suddenly Part 4 and I would like to share something I learnt from a particular scene in the movie. There were so many children there in the children class and this woman, who was their new children’s teacher, came with doughnuts for them. Everybody was obviously excited because, I mean, who doesn’t want a free doughnut? 😂 What the children didn’t know was that this woman was actually an agent of darkness and yet, one child just didn’t feel right about taking the doughnut, she didn’t feel led to. And I thought, this is why we need to raise our children in the way of the Lord. I cannot even overemphasize the importance of bringing up a child in the way of the Lord. What if your child is in a room where everybody is doing something, everybody is accepting something, everybody is saying, “It’s fine,” but something inside that child is saying, “No, Don’t do this.” We have to teach them to know God. To pray. To listen. To know His Word. To understand that the Holy Spirit can lead them and caution them because we won’t always be there to tell them what to do. I pray that the Lord will help us raise children who know Him deeply and can discern what is right, even when everyone around them is saying otherwise.
