@ccfr_ccdaf: Remember when Canadians were told to leave their car keys near the front door because of the Liberal Crime Crisis? Denae does. So do we. We believe law-abiding Canadians deserve better self-defence rights. Read our policy here: https://firearmrights.ca/15-7-self-defence/ If you agree, consider becoming a member and helping us push!

Canada has better "stand your ground" laws than Texas....and no one can find convictions to prove me wrong. You will find a few charged so the courts find out grey areas (chasing someone down and almost killing them) but in anything reasonable there are never even charges.

Ya isn’t strange that police officers were running the tags on high end cars, then passing on that info to organized crime members.

Most people aren’t looking for a confrontation, they assess homes and attempt to pick one that is unoccupied and normally go in during the day. Making your home seem occupied is one of your strongest defence measures.

Canada needs Castle Laws 💯💪🍁🇨🇦🍁 Alberta does not have a formal "Castle Law," but the provincial government issued guidance directing Crown prosecutors that charging residents who defend their homes is generally not in the public interest.Current Legal Reality in CanadaFederal Control: Criminal laws are set by the federal government under the Criminal Code of Canada, not by individual provinces.Self-Defense Rules: Section 34 allows you to use reasonable and proportionate force to protect yourself or others from an immediate threat. No Automatic Right: You do not have an automatic right to use excessive force or ignore safe ways to escape an encounter.
