@abbyexplainsitall: My BP was 103/63 before it started and got to 124/83 as my highest during the little incident and ekg was fine. They think I was just allergic to the type of iron I they used #motherhood #pregnancy #anemia
Awww so sorry you went through that my girls went through that when they was pregnant. 🙏 ❤️buy some Malt syrup it's good for you it will help your iron. also you can eat some chicken liver, that's if you like it.

So sorry to hear that , scary for sure . I work at an hem/onc office , there has been some change with Venofer (iron sucrose) there’s since been a spike in allergic reactions. You can do a different type of iron infusion such as Feraheme, Monoferric, etc. I hope you’re feeling well 💗

I was so anemic before I had a hysterectomy in 2024! Iron & ferritin numbers would not even register during my bloodwork 😫 In other news, yellow looks so good on you!

I'm glad that you and the baby are all right! I had HG and low iron with my last pregnancy. I didn't know I had low iron until after I gave birth. I was so beyond newborn tired and I finally said something to my doctor and when she checked my iron was at 4. I was literally struggling to stay awake which was dangerous as a single parent with no help. I had also tried four different anti-nausea meds. I did zofran, unison B6, compazine and phenergan. the phenergan was the only thing that made somewhat of a difference but I couldn't keep it down. I asked them if they had it in a suppository form and they did. if you're nausea is pretty bad I would look into seeing if they have suppository phenergan if you're able to take phenergan. it's also known as promethazine. being able to take it via suppository with so much easier because I would just take it and lay down for about 40 minutes to make sure it was fully dissolved and then I was able to move around without the fear of it trying to come back out LOL. but it allowed me to eat a little bit more than I was able to which was basically nothing. I was in and out of the hospital a lot during my pregnancy to get fluids because I was unable to eat a good amount of my pregnancy from 7 weeks until I gave birth at 37 + 1. I pray that you're able to get the iron under control and I'm so sorry that you had a reaction to it.

I remember the first time I went in for my iron infusion, the person next to me caught a reaction and everyone stared running. I legit almost walked out bc I'm allergic to shellfish so they always have to do a test dose on me. So I get it when they ask you 7,010 times if you're feeling okay before they infuse you.
