I could honestly write an essay on this 😂 Let me know if you have any questions! If you’re planning full wall mouldings like we have in our bedroom, use emulsion over the whole wall, to keep the same finish. Make sure your mouldings are caulked and primed first if they’re wood - ours came ready primed from @orac_uk which saved a job. We did a full colour drench and so used the same emulsion over the coving and ceiling too. All green apart from the door - they’re original 1912 and have never been painted so I didn’t really want to ruin the natural wood. Plus we have bare wood doors throughout the rest of the house and I love the warmth and continuity it gives. I’d recommend using eggshell on wardrobes, skirting and door frames as it’s more durable. Alternatively, you can get all surface paints; I’ve used @Little Greene Intelligent Emulsion before and it’s excellent and durable on skirting and door frames in our living room but I can’t speak for wardrobes or cupboards. If you’re planning half height panelling in a high traffic area, such as a hallway or up the stairs, you could consider using eggshell from the dado rail and below, so it’s extra durable. For our bedroom, we used the Aura range from @Benjamin Moore in the colour Vintage Vogue (matt emulsion and interior eggshell finishes). It was expensive but it’s brilliant paint and has been very durable so far (2 years on). #wallmoulding #bedroomdecor #greenbedroom #greenbedroom #wallpanelling
