I’m a mom of a man who’s a horrible co parent so listening to you helps me deal with my former daughter in law. Every time I see her I slip her $100 bill and tell her to do something nice for herself. Listening to you helps me appreciate her all the more. I can’t control the grown ass man, but I can treat her like she deserves to be treated.

I think you need to emphasise the fact as well your children are not teens… they are young children under the age of 10! Going a couple of days without speaking to their mum would be hard let alone a whole week!! 😳

I had to take my ex husband back to court bc he refused to let my daughter play aau basketball on the team that I coached!! Judge ordered him to either bring her to practices or games on his weeks or allow me to take her. We went to a tournament another state away and he did not come to watch one game however after our last game he drove 4 hours to rip her from the gym crying instead of letting her enjoy the rest of the weekend with the team doing team bonding.

I’ve been a silent viewer for a while now and I’m a nanny and even in my on family I’ve witnessed situations similar to yours or bits and pieces of parallels, I HATE that your ex husband and his wife are the way they are. It’s VERY apparent how much you love your kids and bonus kids. You exude happiness when you talk about the kids accomplishments or fun things you do with them! You show to all of us and I’m sure those in your personal life how much you love your kids and that you will continue to advocate for them and do what’s right in general! Proud to be a follower and I appreciate you being so vulnerable!

We had it placed in our order that if one parent is unable or unwilling to bring to an activity, the other parent or step parent could do so. That way my husband or myself could bring the kids to their activities if other parent won’t.
