A family member works at Hermes, specifically in customer experience and bookings. She told me that SAs are trained to offer a bag to anyone who asks. Waitlists and refusals may only be because the stock is limited or they don't have the bag in store. Faubourg's boutique has the largest bag inventory in Paris, so your chance of getting a bag is higher ;)

Paris is fairly easy. They take walk ins all the time. As a collector, this isnt a leather appointmennt though. At leather appointments you are offered specific quota bags

A lot of people get caught up on the Hermes game but realistically as long as they have it available they’ll sell you whatever you want unless it’s a Birkin/kelly. It’s sad because H has SO MANY AMAZING THINGS and so many people just know what a Birkin and a mini Kelly are.

You can always walk in and ask to see any of the non quota bags and they will show you what they have. They still earn commission ~1% on most non quota bags compared to 0% on quota bags so they absolutely do want to sell you those bags

No, has nothing to do with energy, its based on availability & a weekly meeting of stock [what to sell, yes they look at spenders with a history as well] but many times an exclusive bag thats been turned down for months from other high spenders will be offered to newer clients, managers are pressured to get rid of stock that isnt selling.
