one night on a Duke of Edinburgh hike we had to do a night move, i fell in river and was soaked and freezing, got cosy in my tent only to forget to open the vents and i woke up roasted like a chicken and soaking wet with puddles in the corner of the tent 🥲

I started bringing a weighted blanket to go camping with and it's the best thing ever. It traps all the heat in and keeps me nice and toasty all night, no need for loads of layers, just a t-shirt and a hoodie, then when I get too hot in the morning I just take the blanket off and I'm not too warm but not too cold
