Well do you both use the same loofah and wash cloth? Because if you do there is no difference between using them to just using the bar of soap, same difference. You rinse out washer/loofah same with the soap. Now after all that I do agree it was disgusting to leave the soap that way

Gross! If she's not going to break up with him over it then she could have handled it better. Although, I do understand how it was very reactionary because she probably felt all kinds of violated. I don't think she's the AH but she could have explained that it wasn't something she was comfortable with and asked if he could use an intermediary device between his skin and the bar of soap or she could have just stopped using the bar all together. My youngest had their partner move in and I stopped using the communal toiletries because I have no idea how they wash themselves and I don't want to ask. It never bothered me when it was just my husband and kids because I know their habits already since I have showered with my husband and I am the one that taught my kids how to wash themselves but with someone new in the house, I just don't feel comfortable anymore.
