This is a horrible situation. The grandparents and parents have to live with guilt. Not sure why everyone is so judgmental. I will pray for their child is in God’s hands now. This is tragic for everyone involved.

I think that the grandparents should be charged with child neglect and child endangerment they knew that that had a grandchild I don’t understand why they didn’t put a fence around the pool or y didn’t they keep an eye on on the child and y didn’t the child learn how to swim I really blame the grandparents for this 1 I feel bad for the mom and dad only the mom and dad will be in my prayers not the grandparents because what they did was so fucking ass wrong

The first thing I did when my first child was born (didn’t wait until he was old enough to walk) was put up a gate around my inground pool. We ended up renovating our house 7 yrs later and getting rid of the pool but that gate didn’t come down till the pool was filled in. It only takes a few seconds for a child to drown.

You have to have eyes on the kids all the time sorry if I sound judgmental my nephew drowned when he was five. I’m definitely for babies children. If they have pools, they have to know how to swim.

So many kids have drowned this summer. Pool fences, pool alarms and door locks are needed if you have a pool.
