@spritznproducts: A bagless vacuum only works as well as you keep it, and most people just empty the canister and stop there. Do these three things instead. First, empty the canister after every use so dust does not pack down and block airflow. Then wipe the inside of the empty canister with an alcohol wipe to lift the fine dust film and kill any odour causing bacteria clinging to the plastic. Third, pull out the filters and gently dust or tap them clean, since a clogged filter is the number one reason a vacuum loses suction. If your filters are washable, rinse them under water and let them dry completely for 24 hours before refitting, as damp filters grow mould.
