I got diagnosed with hEDS in 2014. scared to do anything I allowed myself to gain 100lbs and got lazy. everything was so painful. got tired of it, lost 100lbs last year and stopped making excuses. I walk 3 miles minimum every day and follow a personalized workout plan. I feel the best I have since I got diagnosed. I'm strong, I have energy, and I don't let this hold me back from living a normal life. the more you move, the better you will feel.

So if the provider thought you needed one, they’d prescribe it and if you didn’t have the means to pay, they help find funding/grants and such to help with it. I’ve dealt with this a few times but the doc has to think you need it
