Debris aside, when a tornado touches down, the difference between brick and wood is how much money you wasted just to watch your house get torn apart down to the foundations. Between tornado alley and the hurricanes America faces, it get more than twice as many tornados than the next nost active country on Earth. Building houses cheaper is the only rational way to keep people living in houses 😭
