@Jamie Jackson: So that’s actually not what was said! The defense attorney is the one who got the court order for the dr to enter her room. The state trooper told another state trooper his “theory” was the dr told her that. It doesn’t holdup which is why the jury was made to leave the court room

The defense sent a doctor to see Lindsay. The investigators theorized that the doctor coached Lindsay to say she was hearing voices. The conversation was unsupervised, so they had no way of knowing what happened during that conversation but reported it as fact. Proving it was a theory prior to the conversation and that they had no way of overhearing the conversation shows they tried to create a narrative that Lindsay was faking the hallucinations. That’s why it’s bad for the prosecution.
