Patch it up , be fine . :
Honestly. How can the sewer ( which is the piss/ shit in the toilet bowl ) ever get back into the (pressurised) drinking water supply. Is there any instances of this actually happening ???

there is no way sewer can flow into that toilet spray.

How is this legal in Europe usa and every other country but not in Australia? The chances of contamination is extremely negligible.

Why don't we face similar risks with outdoor hoses? E.g. if they're in a dirty puddle.

Travel a bit. See the world. They all have these sprayers. It’s a theory they could be contaminated. Show an example of it happening and been proven. Doubt there are any.

hogwash
the toilet washer is in the bowl on toilet it has a valve built in to its tap, then when off the hose going into the the bowl emptied all water into bowl then nozel pulls back up into itself.
so no vacuum or water in hose untill tap is turned on

What nonsense. The inlet feeds the cistern not the bowl.

just a quick question, you say potential back flow to contamination to drinking water supply,
what about " in cistern toilet blocks"??? can't they potentially contaminate the drinking water supply with "potential back flow"????

Same risk exists with a shower nozzle if you wash you ass with it but there is no requirement with that. The regulations are a joke .

Explain the difference between a flexible shower head above a bath and a bum bun? the risk is identical.
