It’s really sad the effort Patrick Clancy has done to bring attention/raise money for women’s mental health postpartum, and the things he’s done in remembrance of his kids (building a playground, running a marathon to raise money, etc) and people continue to blame him and say he did it and he doesn’t care about his kids. He made mistakes and I’m sure he replays them in his head over and over daily. Hindsight is 20/20. I hope he sues these people for slander after this is all finished.

I don't know who did it. I just find it crazy that we are taking her perception of what happened as fact when she was experiencing a psychotic episode and apparently murdered the three people she loved most in the world. A plea of insanity in the moment and we believe her perception of what happened? Maybe she remembers things that were not happening. Maybe she thinks she killed them but, did she? Who knows.

The defense doesn’t say she killed the kids. The defense said “the government’s evidence will try to show that Lindsey knows she killed the kids, and I trust you (the jury) to try to understand what is actually going on.” She pleaded not guilty on all counts. She then separately pleads that she is not criminally responsible for any events that led up to the killings. There is zero admission of guilt by the defense.

THIS. IS. NOT. A. MOVIE. You don’t just come out of a psychotic break in a state of amnesia and forget everything that happened. Is memory loss possible? Sure. But most people remember what happened during a psychotic break. So unless you have had one yourself, or have had the pleasure of listening to your loved one tell you what they did during a break, stop invalidating Lindsay’s experience by saying there’s no way she could remember what happened. She does remember and that is what she has to live with.

Are you a mom? I only ask because as a mom it’s really hard to believe she did it. 5-6pm is a normal bath time for kids that age so if she drown them then that is truly more believable but strangling 3 children one by one as a mother is really really hard to believe.

All of these people that are obsessively claiming that Patrick did this are no better than the people that call her evil and hope that she rots in hell. Because in both of these cases, we are ignoring the fact that the severe psychiatric illness that she was suffering from exists, and that postpartum mother’s are not getting proper mental healthcare.

I think there is so much doubt surrounding Lindsay because the justice system in America is incompetent and corrupt when zooming out. I think it’s really hard for people to have confidence that crimes will be solved with reasonable accuracy when things like dna, fingerprints and accessories like the Apple Watch were not collected at the scene.

this man thought to switch his shoes, make his best friend go to cvs for him, write in her journal, locked her in the room, killed the kids, whispered stuff to make her think she was crazy, got his now wife to go kill the kid’s so she would think that she was the one killing them.
