This is why I don’t do delivery. I don’t want to pay a service fee, delivery fee, AND a tip. Hell, no. I’ll go get it myself, bro. Can I afford it? Yes, I can. Do I WANT to pay for it, though? Hell, no. I’ll go get my food myself. That’s why I order and pick it up on my way home. I will tip at sit-down restaurants. I don’t like to, but I do, because I know these servers aren’t paid a lick of piss by the business most of the time.

i only tip based in hell well/shitty the service is. so far ive had alright service so i mainly tip $1 or $2 but other times i have crappy service so i tip $0 but i sometimes get excellent service so they get $2

I work at fast food and our manager says that we get payed $20 hr what’s the point of tipping. If someone insists that’s one thing but don’t be asking. It’s something different with restaurants and some coffee shops, taco shops/stands, and just places like that but at fast food we get payed way more than retail workers and restaurant workers, they get payed like $16 in Cali, some places $18

I seen that a restaurant is doing a no tip fee, and I think it’s dumb when people say that it’s good cause people are exploiting labor, but at the same time I don’t think any of us tip the construction workers that build out houses, we don’t tip the doctors that save our lives, and that’s all good service, tbh that means tipping is dumb in general✌️

The only exception I make to this rule is tipping at small businesses but places like Starbucks or even for merch at a festival where all they did was grab the already overpriced t shirt... count me out
