This happened to me years ago. Well, I wasn’t being singled out as a woman, but there were complaints than I was using the F bomb. And in a closed door meeting with HR. I asked if it was just the word fuck or if it was all cursing. The highlight of my career… I got the VP of HR to say “It’s just fuck”!!🤣🤣🤣

I was a department manager at one stage and my new store manager, told me to change something in a display for my department (trade store) and I said 'our customers prefer it the way it currently was' (feedback was received from customers on this). He looked at me and said 'well I prefer women not to talk back, so it looks like no one is getting what they want today.' When I complained to the HR, the HR woman told me she thought inwardly I must of misheard. When she called him, he said 'is it that time of month for all you or something?' He got sacked and she was so apologetic for even considering doubting me.

Sounds like a boss I had who on International Women’s Day pulled every woman into the conference room….only to berate us for not keeping the kitchen clean. He had our CFO in there, but not one single man. It did not go well for him in that room. He would have pulled this stunt too. 1000%!
