Yeah, the core idea is right, but that last sentence is a bit misleading. Non avian dinosaurs did go extinct, but avian dinosaurs, meaning birds, survived. That’s not a hidden secret, just the way scientists classify animals today. So when you see a pigeon or a crow, you really are looking at a living dinosaur, just not a T rex kind.
