Funnily enough, Fabregas was a better player than Arteta and, so far, he’s proving to be the better coach too. He took Como from Serie C to Serie A and then into the Champions League picture without the kind of outrageous financial backing Arteta has enjoyed at Arsenal. Put Arteta at Como with those resources? They’d probably be fighting for Serie D 😂. Arteta has had years, massive spending and a squad built specifically for him. Fabregas has shown that he can actually build and improve a team without needing an unlimited cheque book.
