Some children fall asleep after a day of laughter and play. Mubraka falls asleep hoping tomorrow will be different. Hoping there will be enough food. Hoping medicine will be available when it is needed. Hoping for clothes that keep him warm and preserve his dignity. Hoping for a safe place where he and his mother can find peace. Hoping that one day, a wheelchair will give him the freedom to move with greater independence. His mother has never stopped fighting for her child. She comforts him, cares for him, and carries responsibilities that would be difficult for anyone. But love alone cannot provide everything they need. Allah says in the Qur’an: “And they give food, despite loving it themselves, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, saying, ‘We feed you only for the sake of Allah. We desire from you neither reward nor thanks.’” (Qur’an 76:8–9) And Allah also says: “Whatever you spend in charity, Allah knows it well.” (Qur’an 3:92, in context of spending what you love for Allah’s sake) Today, you can help provide: 🦽 A wheelchair to improve Mubraka’s mobility. 🍚 Food to ease hunger. 💊 Medicine and medical care. 👕 Clothes to restore comfort and dignity. 🏠 Safe shelter and daily essentials.
